This Christmas Red Velvet Cheesecake is a scrumptious blend of rich chocolate and velvety cream cheese, perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups red velvet cake mix
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the red velvet cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
  4. Combine the cake batter and cream cheese mixture, then pour into a greased springform pan.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  7. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form and top the chilled cheesecake with it.
