- 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract to the bananas and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine the baking soda, salt, and whole wheat flour.
