A delicious low carb dish that combines the flavors of a classic Philly cheesesteak with turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 pound ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 green bell peppers, sliced
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop into pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the ribeye steak until browned, then add the onions and peppers. Sauté until tender.
  4. Stir in the cream cheese until melted and well combined. Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add the chopped turkey bacon back to the skillet, mix well, and transfer to a casserole dish.
  6. Top with shredded provolone cheese and bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding mushrooms or jalapeños.
