- 1 pound ground turkey
- 6 slices turkey bacon
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced (green and red)
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the turkey bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until soft.
- Add ground turkey, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook until turkey is browned.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in chopped turkey bacon and half of the cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For spicier flavor, add jalapeños.
- Can substitute ground beef if preferred.
