1 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup amaretto liqueur
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup crushed nuts (optional)
Instructions
Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
Remove from heat and stir in the dark chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
Add the amaretto liqueur and mix well.
Let the mixture cool for about 30 minutes.
Once cooled, scoop out small portions and roll them into balls.
Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or crushed nuts.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use chocolate with higher cocoa content.
